Sunchips
This is just clever. I found this billboard for Sunchips in Communication Arts magazine. I was really intrigued by this because it is so unique. It uses it surroundings to help design it. The only thing is that it wouldn't work on a cloudy day, but I guess that is why they are called Sunchips.

Citra
I found these images in Print magazine. They are actually frames from a Citra soft drink commercial. Citra is a product of Coca-Cola Japan. I really liked this because it was cute and funny. It uses both illustration and photography to create one production.

Coca-Cola
I found this advertising campaign for Coca-Cola in Communication Arts magazine. I really like how clever this is. It is not just a design flat on a page. The design goes past the page and interacts with other things. It makes me want to go get a Coke, and I don't even like to drink it.

Shangrila
I found this image titled "Shangrila," in computer arts magazine. This picture would catch anyone's eye. This was a piece of a series designed by Ria Dastidar. This is a crazy and insane way to show pop culture. There is not much organization, but I still love it. I just like weird and quirky designs like this.
Emerging proms
This is a poster for Emerging Proms that I found on Computer Arts magazine. The psychedelic use of colors is what caught my eye. It makes it really stick out. It's refreshing because it is not a design style you typically see.

The Oak Room
I thought this was pretty appropriate for this week since we started Project 2. I found this in Communication Arts magazine. I really like the color choice of the goldish brass color, which is what first drew me to it. They did a really nice job with creating the stand alone"O" with the leaves around it. It made the logo very unique. It is also very classy.

The Bahoobahs
I found this art in Computer Arts magazine. This image was designed by Neil Evan. This is a part of Evan's series of his own characters, The Bahoobahs. Evan states, "They're an ongoing series that came about from a desire to explore new avenues using different approaches and styles." I love the bright colors. This is so unique, which is what drew me to it. Even just the name of the characters catches your eye.

Sid Lee for Cirque du Soleil
I came across these posters in Communication Arts magazine. I could not decide which one was my favorite, so I scanned all of them. They are all designed by Sid Lee. These were all designed for Cirque du Soleil performances. Sid said that he has been in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil for the past ten years. I can totally see why they keep hiring him. These posters are amazing, mesmerizing, and beautiful. The bright colors and bold photos draw you in.

Josh Vanover
I found this image in Computer Arts magazine. It was created by Josh Vanover. I found this image so interesting because they made it out of random elements. I was also draw to it because it was so unique. This was included in an article titled "Embracing Mistakes." In the article Josh Vanover shows how to use random elements in Photoshop to make amazing unique images. He teaches how to create smoke images. I really liked it because I had never seen or heard of smoke images before this.
